Mando Footloose Chainless Electric bike
Mondo Corporation, a Korean automotive parts manufacturer best known for supplying parts to Hyundai, has created the Footloose "chainless" foldable bicycle.
The Footloose distinguishes itself by not having a chain connecting the pedals to the rear wheel. It also boasts a generator located in the bottom bracket which can charge the onboard battery. The in wheel motor propels the bicycle as do most eBikes.
There are three modes of operation: Battery mode where the battery powers the motor. Hybrid mode where the battery and the rider pedalling supply power. Flat battery mode where the rider propels the bicycle and (presumably) charges the battery.
